Lviv is one of the ancient and amazing cities of Ukraine, and here is something to see and something to admire. Lviv can safely be called a real European tourist city, because its streets are always flooded with travellers not only from other cities of Ukraine, but also abroad.
Lviv is famous for its cobbled streets, reminiscent of medieval era, amazing Catholic temples, which look practically the same way as many years ago. We can say with certainty, that one day is unlikely to be enough to get around Lviv with a guided tour and learn about its attractions. The city requires a special attention, because in Lviv it is worth to come again and again just to enjoy its grandeur and a special atmosphere.

If you have arrived to Lviv by train, the sightseeing begins already at the railway station, with its quaint antique statues. Moving deeper into the city, you can discover many wonderful buildings and monuments of architecture. In Lviv intricately combined Baroque architecture, Renaissance, Gothic, Empire and Rococo architecture.

A special place is to provide such buildings as the Dominican Cathedral, the St. George’s Cathedral, the Chapel of Boimes, the Armenian Church, the City hall and many other things that can strike the imagination of its architectural composition. The greatest interest for tourists is the old Rynok Square, on the perimeters of which are the fountains-statues of Aphrodite and Adonis, Neptune and Diana, amazing characters of ancient mythology.
Lviv is known for its museums. In addition to the traditional historical and local lore museums here you can look for something more specific - pharmacy-Museum, the Museum of beer, the Museum of jewelry and even a Museum of salo.
